Dr. Robert J. Lefkowitz, Duke professor of medicine and winner of the 2012 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, shakes hands with U.S. President Barack Obama in the Oval Office. This visit marks the start of a longer journey as Dr. Lefkowitz prepares for the Nobel Prize award ceremonies - an event which culminates Monday, December 10.
