Capture Halloween Spirit in Photo Contest
Durham, NC - Halloween office decor? Pumpkin carvings? Spooky treats and costumes?
Working@Duke invites Duke staff and faculty to capture Halloween fun at work and submit photos as part of the 2nd annual Blue Devil Halloween photo contest. To be eligible, the photo must be taken this Halloween season and be work or Duke-related.
One grand prize winner will be selected after an online vote by the Duke community. That winner will receive the winning photo on a coffee mug or mouse pad. The runner-up, also selected by online vote, gets a bag of candy.
Submit photos by noon on Nov. 2; vote for your favorite snapshot between 1 p.m. Nov. 2 and 4 p.m. Nov. 6. Stayed tuned to the Working@Duke section of Duke Today on Nov. 7 for the winner.
Last year, Connie Tubiolo and Lora Griffiths, colleagues in the Office of Sponsored Programs, won the contest after 170 people voted for a photo of them dressed as Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy dolls.
"We are planning to do another costume as a duo this year, but we haven't figured out what it will be yet," Tubiolo said. "We're toying with a couple of ideas."
We encourage Duke faculty, staff and students to share ideas, collaborate and discuss issues on Duke Today. To post a comment, you must log-in with your Duke NetID and password.
