The new dean of Duke Chapel, Luke Powery, arrived on campus and delivered his first sermon as dean.

Doctor Peter Ubel at the Fuqua School of Business is out with a new book. He let an online audience come up with its title -- "Critical Decisions: How You and Your Doctor Can Make the Right Medical Choices Together."

The first of Duke's nine free online courses on the Coursera platform is set to begin September 24.  More than 150,000 people have signed up for the courses on evolution, astronomy, rhetoric and more.

And, back on campus, an exhibition of contemporary art called "Time Capsule" is on display at Duke's Nasher Museum of Art. It was organized by alumnus Jason Rubell.
