Durham, NC - huntsmanclass

Jon Huntsman Jr., diplomat, businessman and former Utah governor and U.S. ambassador to China and Singapore, speaks to a public policy class Monday, including Gideon Rosenthal, senior, left, in Perkins Library. Huntsman was on campus to present the Sanford School of Public Policy's annual Terry Sanford Lecture.

Huntsman spoke to Professor Hal Brands' class on American Grand Strategy, met with faculty and students and led a discussion of "America 2012: Challenges and Opportunities Ahead" in Page Auditorium.

Below, as part of the lecture, Huntsman talks with Duke professor Peter Feaver, about how the United States can maintain its position as a superpower in a rapidly shifting international climate. The video of the talk can be found here.
