Parking/Transit Advisory for Labor Day Holiday

Parking will be available at no charge in certain garages on Sept. 3

Durham, NC - Parking will be available at no charge in all patient and visitor areas of Duke Parking Garages I, II, III and IV on Labor Day, Monday, Sept 3.

Access will be comparable to usual weekend parking, and the Duke Eye Center patient parking area will charge an hourly rate.

Duke Transit will not operate "H" Routes on Monday, Sept. 3, as close-in parking opportunities will exist for Medical Center staff.

The following routes will operate:

Route C-1  (East - West)

Route C-1 Smith Warehouse (East - Smith - West)

Route C-2  (East - Central - West)

Route C-3 (Class Change Bus)

Route PR-1 (Bassett Drive - Circuit Drive - Entry 11 Duke Clinic)

LaSalle Loop (H Overflow Lot on LaSalle St. to Entry 11, return on Towerview Road and Campus Walk Avenue)

Robertson Scholars Express will operate on a reduced schedule and will depart Duke on the half-hour.

All routes resume regular schedules on Tuesday, Sept. 4.

As a reminder, the Parking Services Offices at 2010 Campus Dr. and the Services Center, Room 04230 Duke Clinics, will be closed on Monday, Sept. 3, in observance of Labor Day.
