New Professional Development Course Schedule Available
Durham, NC - Duke staff and faculty interested in computer technology, work skills or management development can now enroll in classes and workshops through Duke Learning & Organization Development.
Courses are being offered through December at no cost to lower-cost - from $49 for a two-hour computer course about Microsoft Word to $399 for a three-day "Access Boot Camp." Most daylong classes cost less than $100.
"We haven't raised the cost of classes and continue to focus on workshops that help employees improve their skill sets so they can better reach their own goals and the goals of their departments," said James McPherson, director of Learning & Organization Development.
Duke's Learning & Organization Development typically offers about 150 courses per year in two semesters, January through June and July through December.
