See NBA Champs Miami Heat Play In Raleigh

Duke employees save up to $10 per ticket to Heat-Bobats preseason game

Durham, NC - While fans in Florida are still celebrating the Miami Heat's second NBA Finals championship, basketball fans in the Triangle will soon have the chance to see the Miami Heat and stars LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Raleigh this fall.

As part of the October preseason schedule, the Charlotte Bobcats will host the 2012 NBA champions at PNC Arena Oct. 23 in Raleigh. Duke employees can catch the game with a special discount through PERQS, Duke's employee discount program, and save up to $10 off the gate price ticket, with prices ranging from $7.50 to $55 per seat. Children under 2 years old get in free.

The game is 7 p.m. Oct. 23 at the PNC Arena, 1400 Edwards Mill Road in Raleigh.

Discounted tickets must be ordered by Oct. 19 with a special sign-up sheet. Purchases can be arranged by sending the purchase sheet via:

  • Fax to (919) 861-6134
  • Mail to PNC Arena, Attn: Group Sales, 1400 Edwards Mill Road, Raleigh, NC 27607

Once purchased, tickets will be sent through the mail. All orders received after Oct. 12 must be picked up at the PNC Arena box office.
