Durham, NC - Last year, nationwide spending on Father's Day gifts topped $11 billion. But Duke staff and faculty don't have to break the bank to surprise a special man this time around.

The annual day to recognize a father in your life is Sunday, June 17. With many options for how to show your affection, let Working@Duke help you narrow the options. Save on gifts with these discounts (and more) available through PERQS, Duke's employee discount program:

Webb's Wet or Waterless Mobile Wash and Detail offers faculty and staff $5 off any regular scheduled car wash. Pricing starts at $25 for cars, $35 for trucks and SUV's.

Rev up your engines with 25 percent off ticket prices at the Charlotte Motor Speedway and zMAX Dragway. Duke employees are also eligible for "buy two, get two free" discount for 2012 events. The schedule includes the NASCAR Sprint Series Bank of America 500, Nationwide Series Dollar General 300 and several Full Throttle Drag Racing Series events.
