Traffic Advisory: Construction At Research-Telecom Intersection
Durham, NC - Duke community members traveling near Research and Telecom drives should allow for extra travel time Monday, May 7, due to construction.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane along Research Drive near the OIT-Telecommunications Building while Facilities Management relocates a natural gas line. Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
During construction, crews will be available to direct traffic and assist pedestrians crossing the road. Duke bus service could also be delayed. Routes that travel through the Research-Telecom intersection include H-1, H-3, H-6, PR-1 and LaSalle Loop.
