Employee Survey Can Help Shape Transportation, Parking at Duke
Durham, NC - Duke is asking all employees to complete a brief survey to better understand their commute to work and trips around campus as part of an effort to improve and expand available parking and transportation options.
During the last few years, Triangle Transit has sent out a transportation survey that has garnered responses from over 3,000 of your colleagues. The results of these surveys led to the introduction of programs such as the GoPass (which enables all members of the Duke community to travel fare-free on Durham Area Transit Authority and Triangle Transit buses), new carpool incentives, and the WeCar car-sharing service.
"The survey provides employees with an opportunity to shape future programs and policies to save them money, time, and stress," said Kyle Cavanaugh, vice president for administration. "The 10 minutes that it takes to complete the survey could save employees more than 10 minutes in travel time in the future."
All employees completing the survey can also enter their names into a drawing for a $150 American Express gift card that can be used at any restaurant or store that accepts American Express.
