Discount Tickets For Deciding ACC Game
Durham, NC - With a share of the ACC regular season championship and a top seed in the conference tournament on the line during the final home game of the regular season, it's going to be a big week for the Duke women's basketball team.
Faculty and staff can be there this Friday for all the action with a special discount from Duke Athletics.
The seventh-ranked Blue Devils host fifth-ranked University of Miami at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. Friday and employees can purchase reserved tickets for the game for $5 - a savings of $9 per ticket. Both teams are tied for first place in the ACC.
"Miami is a great opponent, and we could use the support of faculty and staff as we take them on," said former Duke player and assistant coach Joy CheekĀ . "We want Duke employees to help us get closer to clinching the 2012 ACC regular season championship by packing Cameron."
Prior to the game at 6 p.m., "Friday Family Fun Night" activities will take place in the Hall of Honor, including face painting, balloon artists, basketball pop-a-shot, popcorn, and more.
To purchase tickets, Duke community members can stop by the Duke Athletics Ticket Office in Cameron or call (919) 681-2583 and mention the promo code "DUE." Discounted tickets are also available online by entering the code "DUE."
