Duke Today Podcast: MLK Commemoration

The theme of this year's Martin Luther King Jr.
Commemoration at Duke is "Act to Honor." Benjamin Reese, VP of
Institutional Equity and one of the organizers of MLK events, talks about this
theme and how various campus events will celebrate King's life and vision.

Veteran political strategist and commentator Donna Brazile
and journalist Michele Norris of National Public Radio will headline a week of
free campus activities for Duke's 2012 MLK Commemoration.

Brazile's 3 p.m. speech on Sunday, Jan. 15, in Duke Chapel,
is part of a program that includes music and dancing that celebrates King's
life. All are welcome.

For those unable to attend, a broadcast will be available
live on uStream, Duke
Chapel's live stream, and on the Duke Chapel YouTube channel. For more
information, call 919-681-9488.
