About 300 eighth graders from Duke Public Schools visited Duke's campus Friday during the annual School Days event.  For one day, the middle schoolers roamed classrooms, labs and the Duke campus, receiving an introduction to campus life and encouragement to think about a future in college.

Coordinated by the Office of Community Affairs, the program has students visit residence halls and dining areas, meet with Duke students and get a brief lecture from a faculty member.
