Police responding to scene to direct traffic
Officials report that a blown transformer has knocked out all traffic lights on Erwin Road from Fulton St. to Highway 751.Duke Police Chief John Dailey said that there is heavy congestion in the area due to people leaving work at rush hour. "Officers are responding to the scene to help direct traffic, but I would advise people to avoid the area or find an alternate route if possible," Dailey said.
