Join Juline Chevalier, curator of education at the Nasher
Museum of Art, for a discussion-based tour through "Building the
Contemporary Collection" tonight, Thursday, Aug. 4, at 6 p.m at the
museum.  A cash bar opens at 5:30
p.m.

"Maybe you feel like you don't know enough about art to
participate, but please leave your worries at the door!" Chevalier says.
"You don't need any art knowledge for this tour, just a desire to explore
together."

After the tour, stay for the Nasher's Art Scrabble contest.  A great way to relax on warm summer
evenings, gamers use the museum's exhibition-themed word list to earn bonus
points and win prizes.  Preview
this week's word
list here
.  Scrabble players
are welcome to order dinner, drinks or dessert before, during and after the
games.  Bring your own game board
or reserve one of ours.

The tour and Scrabble game are part of the museum's Summer
Days, Nasher Nights series. Next week the museum pairs the area's musical
talent with a cafe menu featuring local ingredients and the music of
singer/songwriter Kim Arrington.
