The fair is from 8 a.m. to noon June 7 at the Washington Duke Inn.Mike Snyder, safety manager for Facilities Management, said June is an ideal time for the event because Facilities is celebrating National Safety Month. Demonstrations with products will help show employees the safest and most efficient way to work. "In Facilities Management, our focus first and foremost is to ensure every step of a task is completed safely, even if it requires more time to complete," Snyder said. "Our emphasis is to ensure our employees return home safe and sound every day, which is why it's important for us to have this event each year."In addition to learning about safety from a variety of vendors like Grainger, Safety Products Inc., Drummond-American and Zee Medical, visitors will also be able to register for door prizes.
