The Flat Blue Devil is taking his pitchfork to the courtroom to try his hand at some pro bono legal services with students and faculty at the School of Law. He was stopped for a photo in the school's Goodson Law Library, where Flat Blue Devil was reading up on the state's general statutes.

During the 2009-2010 academic year, students and faculty in Duke Law's Clinical Program provided about 17,500 hours of pro bono legal services to low-income individuals and non-profit organizations, which would have amounted to around $2.2 million worth of legal fees.
