Duke Foreign Policy Experts to Discuss Post-bin Laden World

Faculty panelists have all served in the federal government

Three
Duke University foreign policy experts will discuss the implications of
the death of Osama bin Laden on Wednesday, May 4, at Duke's Sanford
School of Public Policy.

"Now What? Counterterrorism and
American National Security in a Post-Bin Laden World," begins at noon in
the Rhodes Conference Room. It is free and open to the public. Parking
is available in the Bryan Center parking deck.

Panelists include Peter Feaver,
professor of political science and director of the program in American
Grand Strategy; Bruce Jentleson, professor of public policy; and David
Schanzer, associate professor of public policy and director of the
Triangle Center on Terrorism and Homeland Security.

All three have served in federal
government positions in national security and foreign policy. Seth
Cantey, a political science graduate student at Duke, will moderate.

The event is sponsored by the
American Grand Strategy Program and the Triangle Center on Terrorism and
Homeland Security and co-sponsored by the Triangle Institute of
Security Studies and Duke's Sanford School of Public Policy and
political science department.
