Professor Bruce Donald of the computer science department has been named an IEEE, or Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers, Fellow. He is recognized his for contributions in robotics, micro-electro-mechanical systems and computational molecular biology and will receive a Fellow pin and certificate. The award serves as visible recognition of his elevation to the highest grade of membership in IEEE, the world's leading professional association for advancing technology for humanity.
