Faculty and staff who've always wanted a game-worn jersey or shoes made for Duke runners have a chance to load up on athletic gear this week.

Duke Athletics will hold its first "surplus sale" from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the Card Gymnasium, next to Cameron Indoor Stadium. Fans of all ages will be able to sort through hundreds of discounted clothing items, shoes, cleats and more. Prices range from $5 for shirts to $40 for shoes.

"If you're a fan, and you want to show your Duke pride, now's the perfect chance to do it," said Boo Corrigan, senior associate director of athletics for external affairs. "All our items are priced to move, and we're going until things sell out."

Brands available at the sale will include Asics, Adidas, Nike, Under Armor and more.

Sizes of women's clothing range from extra small to extra large; men's sizes vary from small to 4XL. Tall lengths are also available. All items -- except for game-worn jerseys -- are brand-new.

Parking will be available in the Whitford Parking Lot on Whitford Drive. Cash, checks, FLEX and credit cards will be accepted. All sales are final. No exchanges or returns. All quantities in all sizes of all items are limited.

For more information on the surplus sale, contact the Duke Athletics at 668-5700 or check out the event's Facebook page by searching "Duke Athletics Surplus Sale."
