Duke Film Series, Discussions to Explore Intersection of Words and Images
DURHAM, N.C. - A film series at Duke University, "Framing Language: Words as Pictures in the Art of the Moving Image," will explore the intersection of the printed word and the moving image.
The film screenings, which are free and open to the public, begin at 2:30 p.m. and take place in the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University lecture hall.
This Screen/Society series is curated and presented by visiting filmmaker and instructor David Gatten in conjunction with Duke's Program in the Arts of the Moving Image. A question-and-answer session with Gatten will accompany each screening.
