DukeReads Begins Life on Ustream Wednesday

New season begins Oct. 14 with Provost Peter Lange on the Wall Street meltdown

Durham, NC - Beginning Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 7 p.m. EST, DukeReads will kick-off a new season with new selectors, new titles, and new technology that will improve sound and picture quality and your ability to submit questions.

Using Duke's partnership with Ustream, TV's live streaming broadcast, you can view each DukeReads session on the Duke Ustream channel. You'll be able to submit your questions in advance or during the session by email to live@duke.edu, on the Duke Live Ustream page on FaceBook, or via Twitter with the tag #dukelive.

Provost Peter Lange will discuss with NPR's Frank Stasio House of Cards: A Tale of Hubris and Wretched Excess on Wall Street, by William D. Cohan '81. An article by Cohan, "Crisis Managers," alumni who played major roles in the March economic meltdown, appears in the latest Duke Magazine.
