Durham, NC - A Duke employee reported he was robbed by a young man with a gun as he walked home north of campus Tuesday night.

 

The employee, who was not injured, was at LaSalle Street and Brown Avenue about 9:50 p.m. when he was approached by the man, who demanded money, said Duke police Major Gloria Graham. The man, who is 16 to 18 years old, took the employee's wallet and was last seen running north on Erwin Road toward Douglas Street.

 

No arrest has been made in the case, which is being investigated by the city of Durham police department.
