Environmental Forum to Include Obama, Clinton Advisers

The moderated 90-minute forum April 25 is open to the public.

Durham, NC - Advisers for Democratic presidential hopefuls Sen. Hillary Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama will discuss the candidates' positions on environmental issues at a free public forum at 11 a.m. Friday, April 25, at Duke University.

Dan Utech, environmental adviser for Clinton, and Jason Grumet, environmental adviser for Obama, will take part in the moderated 90-minute forum at Love Auditorium in the Levine Science Research Center on Duke's West Campus.

Following their discussion, the advisers will field questions from the audience.

The event is hosted by Duke's Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions and Nicholas School of the Environment and Earth Sciences. It is being organized by Nicholas School students. Tim Profeta, director of the Nicholas Institute, will moderate.

A reception will follow.
