'Knocked Up' to Launch Film Series on Ethics and Relationships

Durham, NC - A new series will use popular movies to explore ethics and relationships, beginning with the comedy "Knocked Up" at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, in the Griffith Film Theater in the Bryan Center.
The series "Sex, Love and Conflict: On the Ethics of Relationships" is sponsored by the Kenan Institute for Ethics and the Film/Video/Digital Program for Duke's Spring Screen/Society. The four films will address ethical issues surrounding sexuality, love and conflict in our modern lives and will offer opportunities to promote dialogue among and between men and women at Duke and in Durham. All screenings are free and open to the public.
Following "Knocked Up," Professor Suzanne Shanahan and Ada Gregory of the Kenan Institute for Ethics will lead a discussion.
