Refer a Nurse to Duke and Receive $5,000

Duke faculty and staff who refer a nurse to work at Duke University Health System are eligible for a $5,000 award.

Now is the perfect time to act because on July 29-30, Duke Medicine will host a national Nursing Expo that will offer registered nurses an inside look into one of the country's leading health care institutions. Nurse recruiters will be on hand to conduct interviews and participants could land a job at Duke. The Expo is not open to nurses currently working at Duke; another event will be held later this year for Duke nurses.

If you have a friend in nursing, be sure to inform them of the Expo and then complete a Refer-a-Nurse form to receive the $5,000 incentive. After completing the form, return it to Nursing Recruitment via campus mail (Box 3714) or fax (681-7397). The form must be submitted before a position is offered to the applicant. Referral incentive pay will not be paid to the referring employee if it is received after the date of the applicant's hire letter.
