Coach K Leadership Conference to Address How Companies Can Gain Competitive Edge

The two-day conference, geared toward current and future industry leaders, still has limited space available

The fifth annual Fuqua School of Business/Coach K Leadership Conference will be held Oct. 16-18 at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.

This year's conference theme, "Seeking the Edge," will address how companies are using their organization's core strengths to create a competitive edge in today's global marketplace.

The two-day conference, geared toward current and future industry leaders, still has limited space available.

Jonathan Tisch, chairman of the Loews Hotel Corporation; Billy Dexter of MTV Networks; and Bill Johnson, president of Raleigh-based Progress Energy, are a few of the prominent leaders scheduled to speak at this year's conference.

Other speakers scheduled to appear include Duke men's basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski; Jack Bovender of HCA, Inc.; William Gimson of the Centers for Disease Control; Alison Levine of Climb High Foundation; John Rogers of Ariel Capital Management; Billy King, general manager of the Philadelphia 76ers, and Chrystia Freeland of the Financial Times.
