Casting Call for Duke Medicine Ads

Ads to feature medical staff telling stories of care

Duke Medicine is launching a new advertising campaign. Print ads will appear this fall. A major component of this campaign that will run throughout the year showcases the people of Duke Medicine.

The stars of both print and TV ads, to be filmed Oct. 4-5, will be real Duke doctors, nurses, staff and patients. Our message will be delivered with authenticity, drama, and high production value, and we are seeking caregivers and families to help us tell our story.

We are scheduling casting sessions at the following times and locations:

  • Tuesday, Sept. 26 8 a.m. -- 6 p.m.

Room 0906, the Medical Student Amphitheater in Duke Clinic (near the

Duke Clinic Food Court)

  • Wednesday, Sept. 27 8 a.m. -- 6 p.m.

Durham Regional Hospital Auditorium

  • Thursday, Sept. 28 8 a.m. -- 6 p.m

Duke Raleigh Hospital Cancer Center, Classrooms 1 & 2.

These casting calls will allow us to talk to prospective participants -- caregivers, employees, and previous patients of Duke. To help in the selection process we will be videotaping our conversations. No previous acting experience required.

If you are interested in participating and/or know a heartwarming story that has happened across Duke Medicine, click here and give us your contact information and story ideas or show up at one of the casting call locations.
