Duke Police Release Composite Drawing of Robbery Suspect

The suspect is wanted in connection with the robbery of a student last weekend at the end of the Edens Drive fire lane

Duke University Police on Friday released a composite drawing of a man accused of robbing a Duke student last weekend.

The incident happened about 2:15 a.m. at a picnic table at the end of the Edens Drive fire lane, on Duke's West Campus. According to Duke Police, a man reportedly showed a gun to the 17-year-old male student and told him to put his wallet on the picnic table. The assailant took the wallet and then walked into the woods in the Wannamaker Drive area. The victim was unharmed.

The suspect is about 5-feet, 8-inches tall.
