Wrightsville Beach, NC - F. Joseph McClernon, Ph.D. an assistant research professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, was awarded the annual Eugene A. Hargrove, M.D. award during the NC Psychiatric Association's Annual Meeting and Scientific Session, Sept. 27-30 in Wrightsville Beach. The award honors an individual who has been recognized by his colleagues for exceptional contributions to mental health research. Dr. McClernon is the principal investigator at Duke’s Tobacco Neuroscience Research Laboratory.
